A young singer

When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?

The first person that came to my mind is Benson Boone because I’ve been watching him and listening to his music. He is a young fellow but already he’s making music with 800+ millions of hits with just one song, “Beautiful Things.” He came to fame but already singing “Bohemian Rhapsody” better than the band Ghost. I’m not saying that Ghost isn’t good but they’ve been around longer than Benson Boone but Benson Boone gone more viral for a young fellow. Benson Boone had started being active from 2021. He’s very talented and his music is memorable. He’s got very unique vocals and delivers many entertaining performances. So yeah. I think he’s successful.

My favorite book from childhood

Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?

I remember the book that got me into reading has to be Look For Me By Moonlight by Mary Downing Hahn. I like that book so much I purchased my own copy from Thriftbooks.com. This book wasn’t predictable. It was very exciting when I first read it. I was looking for books in the horror/vampire genre and found this one. It’s a kid’s book.

Technology changed my job

How has technology changed your job?

Since I’m unemployed, I’m going to say my last job was working with a computer, phone, speakers, laminating machine and such. Technology definitely does changed my job. If I didn’t work with computers, I would have to do everything manually and it would be impossible to create quality teaching materials to children. We print out lots of pictures, flashcards, games for children. While we’re not teaching, the kids would get to watch Coco Melon or other kids’ channels on YouTube. I also enjoy my time being offline sometimes, though.

The activities I lose myself in is watching YouTube on my smart TV. My feed is often interesting. The most interesting video that came in the recommendation is Octomom. Another video that was interesting is Child stars where are they now. And then my sis got me YouTube premium and I like to watch TV with no ads. The recommendations really know my interest often showing thumbnails that interest me.

Another activity that I like is walking at a shopping mall. I enjoy my walks inside an air conditioned building. The mall isn’t that big but I still like to go there. It is called Passione Shopping Destination.

Who are your favorite artists?

Candy corn demon girl by Serendipity the artist

Serendipity the artist and Lord Gris are my favorite artists because both of them are young and talented. They create flawless pieces of artworks in the style of pop surrealism.

If I won’t fail

Daily writing prompt
What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail.

If I didn’t fail to do it, I would open a shop selling stationery goods. I’ve been obsessed with stationery for years. My shop will have keychains, charms, necklaces, art prints, stickers, etc. They make organizing life fun with colorful sticky notes pens and beautiful prints to frame and put on your wall. Stationery goods are fun to collect.

Do you collect paper goods?

I miss my collections

What would you do if you lost all your possessions?

I’ve lost things before and keep thinking about them, but eventually, I get over it and acquire new stuff. There was this oversized Green Lantern hoodie I won from entering a contest online and a limited edition Xbox, too. My cousin stole the hoodie and I never saw it again. So, the question is what would I do? Buy new things. I did this many times. While I live in USA, I have lots of VHS, CDs, books, toys, clothes, etc. Bedbugs destroyed many VHSs I love, and I had to throw them away. I gave away all of my Twilight Saga books. I had many things. I could only take a few things when I returned to Thailand. I lost most of my possessions, but nothing important, just collections.

I have issues with

What’s a topic or issue about which you’ve changed your mind?

The topic today will be about resin. There are two kinds of resin, epoxy resin and UV resin. The issue I have with resin is that it’s my first time using it and it wouldn’t dry. I bought a cheap one online. It’s written in Chinese. I got two pairs. It’s all sticky and sticks to my hands. I Googled a way to wash the stickiness off, so I used dishwashing liquid to clean my hands. I’ve been frustrated with it for a long time. I once used it on shrink plastic and had to throw it away due to it not wanting to dry properly. I ordered a new resin online from AliExpress and Lazada. I hope those ones work. I want some handmade jewelry.

I changed my mind about using cheap resin. I’ll pay a little more so I can get successful results. I love resin art!

Your life without a computer: what does it look like?
Photo by Tracy Le Blanc on Pexels.com

Life without a computer would be kind of boring even though I sometimes enjoy being offline. I’d be reading and making art more if I didn’t have a computer. I didn’t have a computer a few years ago. My sister gave me her old Macbook, so I’m always online. When I have questions, I always ask Google. The point of this post is if I didn’t have a computer, I would be on my smartphone more and possibly find something else to do.

Which do you like better a computer, a smartphone or both?
