Why You Shouldn’t Video Chat With Just Anyone

When you want to make friends online, people (who you don’t know) will often ask for a Skype or another app username. Why? They plan to do more than a regular video call. Don’t fall into that trap! Don’t give out usernames to random people who you just spoke to for a few days. Chances are these people aren’t genuine. Don’t let them pressure you! The requests I often get from these people are, to show them “something else.” Yes, this sounds rather strange, but it’s true. These guys are just insincere trolls who go around messaging women in hopes of violating her privacy and pressuring her into giving them what they want.

My suggestion is DON’T give out Skype or other app usernames to just anyone. When you do, you will feel disadvantaged. Do you really want strangers who you have no connection with to message or video call you? DON’T waste your time. How do I know? When you tell them no, they will end the message with “a goodbye.” So, if you want to know if someone is real or fake, it’s quite simple. Just don’t give out your username until you already chat with them through texting for more than six months. You’ll know if that person is worth talking to or if they are worth it to be giving out that personal username.

There’s nothing wrong with only texting for communication. There’s also nothing wrong with making friends online. As long as they don’t make “special requests.” It’s best to make friends with the like-minded, someone you have a connection with. Not some random guy coming out from nowhere, requesting to video call on Skype. These types of people you can’t trust.

I hope you get something from this blog entry. What are your thoughts on video calls with someone you don’t know?

Finding Your Passion

Photo taken from https://www.wikihow.com/Become-a-Freelance-Artist

What do you like to do when you were in high school? What classes did you enjoy attending? What classes did you love in college? These were the questions I asked myself when I’m trying to find the passion I used to have. In elementary school and high school, I was good at art. My teachers used to call me “an artist.” I always thought I wasn’t that good, but it’s not about being very good, it’s about enjoying what you do. Do certain hobbies make you happy? Do you look forward to waking up so you can work on your hobby? Having a hobby that you love can motivate you to have a better purpose. You’ve got to keep that momentum going in order to love your life.

If you’re not like me, my years were spent being depressed in bed for many years and not wanting to do anything. Today, I thought back to my elementary school years and remembered I really enjoy making art. I took away that limiting belief of saying to myself, “You’re not as good as the other people” or “You’re not talented enough to be doing this.” These limiting thoughts hold me back from pursuing my real passion. It holds me back from bettering myself.

Work on your strengths

As a child, I had always wanted to become an artist and never a writer because I always think I wasn’t good enough to write. They were thoughts like, “Most other people are better writers.” Or “My sister writes better than me.” Or “I don’t have a vast vocabulary.” All of this can change when you just work on your strengths. In Dean Graziosi’s book “Millionaire Success Habits”, he speaks about not focusing on your weakness. Focus on your strengths. I knew my strength was creativity, but I denied that I was. I had terrible self-esteem. My advice is “just do it” whether you’re good at it or not because doing improves and sharpen that skill. Everyone has a talent and I believe mines was making artwork.

Stray away from negativity

In order to be good at something, we don’t plant negative ideas in our heads. Negativity just drains energy and motivation. Many years ago, I always thought writing blogs was something impossible. If you really look at the facts, the information you’ve seen online were added by people like you and me. If they can do it, so can you. How are we any different from them?

Childhood passion

Finding your passion isn’t difficult. Just think about what you enjoyed as a child. What were some of the praises that you received from teachers, friends, and adults? For me, I was always praised for creating artwork. My classmates always showed an interest in seeing my work. One artwork I created was a carving of a rat. In art class, we were required to carve a rat out of soap. I remembered clearly, I loved to carve the shape of a rat. I worked carefully at the details. I screwed up a bit, but I keep on doing it. At the day of our project deadline, we had to wrap up. My sculpted rat was chosen to get featured in the museum.

The worst enemy

Over the years, I learned to not say things like, “I’m not good at that” or “I’m not skilled” because they’re limiting beliefs that keep me from bettering myself. No one was there to watch me if I was good or not. They’re only my thoughts. I just realized my thoughts and myself were my worst enemy. In Dean Graziosi’s book, he calls it “the villain.” I don’t want that villain to stop me from doing what I love because I thought I wasn’t great at it. Instead, I want to do it simply because I love to do it. It doesn’t matter if it’s not perfect. Don’t focus on perfection. Instead, focus on creativity and enjoyment.

How do you better yourself? What are your thoughts about developing a talent? Let me know in the comments!

What It’s Like As A Recluse

Recluse: withdrawn from society; seeking solitude
Hermit: someone who chooses to live alone or spend most of their time alone

My definition of a reclusive person is someone who likes to be alone, away from society, valuing their privacy, not socializing much and not having a community. A reclusive person stays in their home, away from people and avoid distractions from the outside world. A reclusive person doesn’t like to interact with random people. They are similar to a hermit.

My experience of living alone is nearly reclusive, although I live with my father. He’s the only one I talk to. When we go grocery shopping, we don’t like to go during peak hours. I have a reclusive life, but I still occasionally chat with people online. I don’t do face to face. No meetups. No video chats.

The reason I have this reclusive life is that I lack the funds to meet up with people. I also avoid people for my safety. I start to become a recluse this year because I suffered from a mental illness, psychosis. Living like a hermit allows me to be spiritual, to read the Bible daily and to meditate on God’s word. Living this lifestyle allows me to be at peace. I gain more time for myself.

How to live as a recluse

1. Find daily hobbies to do at home.

Watching movies, listening to music, playing music, drawing, etc. Get creative with art. Learn how to draw or paint from watching tutorials online. Learn how to make interesting videos. Learn to sing songs. Record your singing.

“Persistence. Perfection. Patience. Power. Prioritize your passion. It keeps you sane.” ― Criss Jami, Killosophy

2. Find a job to work from home.

Example: start a food/drink business; it’s something you can do by yourself. Do freelancing writing jobs. Take stock photography. Take surveys (even though it doesn’t pay much). More job ideas on Instagram. Just search “entrepreneurs.”

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” – Pele

3. Take small naps to kill time.

Lay down, sleep or not do anything for a while. Meditate while laying down.

“I have a hard time getting past the day without the nap, so the nap is a must.” – Mohnish Pabrai

4. Examine self-care.

Take the time to pray, meditate, breathe, relax, take a good bath, take care of your body and hygiene.

“The only person who can pull me down is myself, and I’m not going to let myself pull me down anymore.” – C. JoyBell C.

Conclusion

I love my reclusive life. A tremendous amount of time in a day and every day. The freedom to do anything I want.

How I Make My Days Productive

Lately, there are times when I feel super unproductive, but I’m starting to understand it’s all in the mindset. If I keep myself busy doing something, such as wake up each morning and take my time to clean every corner of my house, I wouldn’t have those feelings.

A few weeks ago, my father knew I was unproductive and lazy; I have just recovered from a mental illness. He created a daily schedule for me to stay on track. Daily, I’m required to do the laundry, sweep, and mop floors, wipe the dust off of furnitures and tables, wipe kitchen counters, clean the microwave, and water plants. Those were the only tasks he expected from me.

To add to my daily routine, I write every day. I believe writing every day improves my writing skills. If I’m not writing, I would be reading articles and blogs. I also read a book. I just realized there are interesting and boring books. Some writings catch my attention and there are also some that don’t.

The best way to stay productive daily is to do housework, write blogs and read. Whether my writings appeal to people or not, I still write; I’m doing this to improve my skills. My suggestion is to not worry about getting traffic to your website. It’s nice to get views on social media, but we shouldn’t put too much focus on it; we would feel overwhelmed and discouraged.

I believe having a clean and dust free space helps us to work better; we don’t have to be distracted by a dirty, disorganized or dusty space. I focus better when my house is clean and organized, so I always clean before I sit down to write a blog.

Every time I finish a piece of writing, I feel accomplished. I try not to think if I will attract an audience. Everyone wants views, likes and follows; we shouldn’t expect too much, instead focus on producing valuable and helpful content.

It’s also good to take small breaks in between every hour to walk around, stretch and get a drink. Sometimes I sit and relax for a little while and not do anything.

I hope you get something from reading this blog. Let me know what you think!

A Stay-at-Home Single

Photo taken from https://www.wikihow.com/Adopt-As-a-Single-Woman

Does the term Stay-at-Home single exist?

No, it doesn’t exist. Only Stay-at-Home moms exist. Did I create this term? Yes, the reason I came up with this term is that when I go outside, such as banks or when I see acquaintances, people would often ask me, “What do you do?” I always say bluntly, “I stay at home. I don’t do anything right now.” So, that’s when I would call myself “Stay-at-Home single”. I really don’t know what to label myself. I don’t have an occupation. Most folks have the title of being something significant, like an author, a YouTuber, an investor, etc.. but I have none.

As a single who’s never married, I live with my father. I take care of the household by doing dishes, laundry, watering plants, sweeping and mopping floors and making sure everything is tidy. My way of staying productive is writing and reading daily, watching YouTube videos and gathering ideas for writing my book.

My Life Is Spent Indoors

Photo taken from https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/10-unique-youtube-channels-you-should-watch/

Today, I’m going to be talking about what my life is like being unemployed and staying indoors all the time. My days are spent mostly using the internet, reading a book and blogs and watching YouTube videos.

Why do I spend my time watching YouTube videos?

I watch YouTube videos a lot because it’s one of the main things that motivates me to reach my goals. I listen to YouTube podcasts daily and try to apply those ideas to my life. Dean Graziosi’s podcast is one of the best ones. He talks about how we can better ourselves and reach that next level of income by applying his “Millionaire Success Habits”. Learning about new habits is beneficial as it changes our bad habits.

Who is Dean Graziosi? Why do I speak of him?

Dean Graziosi is an author, investor, entrepreneur, and trainer. I speak of him because he makes tons of videos that are easy to understand. I’m currently reading his latest book “Millionaire Success Habits”. I highly recommend checking him out because, in order to succeed, we need to learn from someone who already did it. In his book, he talks about working on our strengths, not weaknesses, he also includes exercises and provides ways on how we should think to adopt those successful habits. Get a free copy of his book here under the books link: https://www.deangraziosi.com/

How do you spend your time indoors? What keeps you motivated daily? Let me know your thoughts!

What is Goth?

The real definition of goth in the present day is someone who’s interested in dark aesthetic, gothic music, dark cinema, and art, gothic fashion, gothic clothing, gothic makeup, gothic architecture, black-and-white horror films, etc.

The word “goth” can be defined in many ways, but the first original meaning actually meant “a member of a Germanic people that overran the Roman Empire in the early centuries of the Christian era” taken from the Merriam-Webster dictionary.

What makes someone a goth?

It makes someone a goth when they’re interested in the strange, surreal and macabre. Goths are dressed in dark clothing, dark makeup, they listen to dark music, watches dark movies and TV shows such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Wolfman, Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Dark Shadows, etc. Goths read horror books like Jane Eyre, Frankenstein, Dracula, Wuthering Heights, The Castle of Otranto, Interview with the Vampire, and more.

Are goths sad people?

Goths aren’t sad people. They just have an appreciation for spooky things like bats, crows, ravens, the night, skeletons…

Are goths satanic?

No, goths aren’t satanic because being a goth has nothing to do with satan. According to Merriam-Webster, goth means “a person who wears mostly black clothing, uses dark dramatic makeup and often has dyed black hair.” Goth and satan are two completely different subjects. Satan is a fallen angel named Lucifer and he was one of God’s prettiest angels, in the present day, he is the devil.

What is goth, really?

To be clear, goth is a subculture and has its own history. It was first known as a type of music genre, gothic rock, that originated from England, first in the 1980s.

Who is Tila Tequila?

Photo taken from (Pacific Coast News)

Tila Tequila first gained recognition in the Myspace days. She was a famous model, singer, reality star and internet personality, who goes by the name Tila Tequila, in the present Tornado Thien, but her real name is Thien Nguyen. She is of Vietnamese heritage, lives in Houston, Texas and she was very popular in my high school years, 2003 – 2007. She was in most people’s friend’s list and gained more than 1.5 million MySpace friends. She posted partially nude photography in her profile’s photo galleries. During those years, she was involved in the porn industry and Hollywood.

Time Magazine stated in 2006, “She gets somewhere from 3,000 to 5,000 new friend requests every day. She is something entirely new, a celebrity created not by a studio or a network but fan by fan, click by click, from the ground up on MySpace.”

Aside from Myspace, what else did she do?

She appeared in a bisexual dating show, A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, where she was portrayed as being bisexual. She stated in her YouTube video, “I was never bisexual or homosexual at all!! It was all gay for pay and it is required of you in order for you to sell your soul to Satan!!! Hollywood is full of filth and they will be burned!” So, all of it was just an act because she wanted to make money. When she was filming that reality show, she “had a boyfriend for the entire two seasons of that show.” She was only acting gay for pay because, in Hollywood, they were required to, “defile yourself with gay ritual, homosexual rituals, pornography, anything to defile yourself to remove your seal of God to remove the fact that we’re children of God…”

Where is she now?

Today, she is a Christian, a full-time YouTuber, and an artist/painter. She has two children (Annabelle and Isabella), lives in her apartment in Houston, Texas and goes live on YouTube daily – where she talks about God, her breakthrough, natural disasters, prophecy, the mystery of the Bible, her kids, painting, world news…

On her YouTube channel, she explains why she left the entertainment business, how she turned to Jesus and left Hollywood for good. Watch her testimony here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nIN-Y3FSOM0&t=682s

In her bio, she wrote, “I AM GOD’S MIGHTY BATTLE AXE AND WEAPON OF WAR! I WAS SENT HERE TO ABSOLUTLEY UPROOT AND DESTROY ALL OF YOU IN THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS! GOD IS WITHIN ME I WILL NOT FAIL! AMEN!”

Why You Won’t Make Any Friends Using Online Meeting Apps

Photo taken from https://tonkit360.com/35765/azar/

Two days ago I tried out an online app that I haven’t heard of before. I thought I wanted to make online friends and see something different. Also, to learn about other parts of the world. To chat with people from all over the world. The app was called Azar Web: Best Video Chat. After using this live video app for two days, I concluded that it’s filled with middle-aged to old men. I’m not saying this to be negative or critical, but most of the people on their looks poor and doesn’t use English. I have nothing against this particular app and really enjoyed using it. The only thing I don’t like about it is that locations like the UK or USA users don’t talk to people outside of their country. When they see my location, it creates automatic disinterest. Why? Is it because Thailand looks like a third world country? This entry is about using online apps and I’m not going to go into details why Thailand isn’t really a third world country. Yeah, there are poor places in Thai slums. Any part of the world, I’m sure, has at least one poor neighborhood. Something I found out is that people from countries like Turkey, India, Egypt, Korea, etc. would speak to me, but the ones from European countries wouldn’t speak to me. Is it because they have something against countries like Thailand? Probably, but Thailand is a country that has made great advances over the years.

So, do I like this app? Yes and no. Why? Because it’s filled with biased users. I have nothing against poor people or those who live in poverty. I already know the answer to why these people will talk to me. Poor people are easier to reach out to or approach. Middle-classed Europeans don’t talk to someone from a “Third World Country.” According to the internet, Thailand isn’t a third world country.

The question is, is the app worth your time? Not really. Did I learn anything new? Yes. Non-European users are easier to start a conversation with and Europeans don’t start conversations with other nationalities. I’m saying all of this because it’s a fact. I have nothing against anyone. Just stating the truth about users on this app.

If you have any opinions, be sure to comment down below and let me know what you think! Feedback is very much appreciated.

My Employee Days Are Over

Photo taken from https://www.bbklaw.com/news-events/insights/2019/legal-alerts/02/compensation,-harassment-and-discrimination-cases-

Why are my employee days over? Because I don’t like to work for someone. It provides no freedom, long working hours and tedious labor work. I’m not saying that working for someone is a bad thing if you’re used to it. In fact, you definitely get paid if you did versus trying to work for yourself – it takes much more work and risk.

Is it good to be employed by a brand or a company? Yes and no. The advantages you get working for someone – you don’t need to worry about not receiving an income. You get paid for sure. You don’t need to worry if the company was doing well or not. You don’t have very huge responsibilities. The disadvantages are you need to follow the bosses’ orders and listen to your teammates. Working hours are demanding. You don’t get any freedom. You are required to be there for full hours. You have no time for yourself.
