What could you let go of, for the sake of harmony?
Silent woods
For the sake of harmony, I stay silent. Not sure what else I can do. If I had to let go of something maybe it’s social media. I wouldn’t have anything to do if I had to do that. Most of my time I spend surfing the web, reading and writing online. I especially enjoy shopping sites like Etsy, Shopee, WordPress, Tik Tok…
Would you ever go several days without social media?
I’ve never had a vacation. But I do have a memorable memory of places I’ve been to. I got to say Salt Lake City, Utah was memorable. I had a lot of fun staying for three months and worked there for a short time. I enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart and Smith’s supermarket. The weather was the best. I went there during winter around the time it almost stopped snowing.
I can’t say I’m an authority in any subject. I’m not really good at anything. I do have a college degree in cooking, though. I know basic cooking but can’t say I’m an expert. From my understanding to be an authority in a subject, that person has to know the subject very well. Cooking isn’t too difficult but it requires a chef to explain food science and there are food terms that professionals can explain the subject to some who are beginners. The term mise en place means “put in place.” Only students, chefs and French speakers know this term or some who work in a Western kitchen for a long time.
Can you say you’re an authority in a subject even though you don’t know everything about it?
Red roses come to my mind when I think of the word romantic. My definition of romantic are a couple in love, a relationship, two people spending time together at a candlelight dinner, Valentine’s day and etc.
Romantic is intimacy between the two people who are in love for the first time or married and still in love.
Here are examples of how I express my gratitude: I show my appreciation by doing the little things like buying them a snack, saying thank you, sending a thoughtful message and giving a phone call.
The reason I said buy a snack for the person who did something for me is so they know I’m grateful for them helping me and I show them that I’m thankful. It’s a little gift to show them I think about them.
When I’m grateful, I always say thank you to them that help me.
My aunt allowed me to stay at her house for five months and she prepared my breakfast for me everyday before I move. I send her messages and call her sometimes asking how she was doing. She send me packages of my stuff and paid for all shipping. I’m grateful for her actions.
How do you show appreciation to someone who did something for you?
A teacher’s patience and passion for teaching makes a teacher great. I used to teach English to a four year old that was struggling. My employer who has a degree in teaching didn’t have much patience for the little boy. She asked me to give him close attention and I did. He understood my teaching. Teachers have to repeat themselves a lot. I didn’t mind having to repeat myself often. As long as it helped the students to understand and remember English vocabulary.
Teacher and Student
I was not a real teacher when I taught children. I just wanted to try the job, so maybe I could have changed my career. I didn’t have a degree in teaching. Most places will not hire someone who is inexperienced in teaching. I didn’t have experience in teaching. I just wanted to try what it was like, so my employer gave me a chance. I worked at that job for two months. The students really like the game I had them play. I actually enjoy that teaching job. The children had fun trying to speak English to me and it helped them.
Do you enjoy teaching children? Are you an experienced teacher or you simply just teach for fun?
In my life I’ve never had a surgery. I’m grateful that I have a decent health. But I do go to the hospital for my psychosis medication. I started having psychosis in 2013.
Do you ever had surgery or do you have mental health problems like depression?
I never skip breakfast even though I did in the past. I eat a good breakfast every morning as my daily routine. I drink a lot of water to avoid getting hungry frequently.
Before bedtime I would shower, apply facial gel to my face and take my daily psychosis medication. I believe I don’t have mental illness anymore. I used to have it in my younger years; I would hear voices screaming in my head telling me to starve myself and I did follow what it said and became so thin easily. I weighed 103 pounds at that time. I’m better now. Just need to continue with my medication.
New daily routine consists reading a few pages of a book. I don’t read many pages before bedtime because I like to take my time. Then I make a new habit of writing and blogging daily so I’m not unproductive. I enjoy my new routine that I set up for myself, reading and blogging. I’d like to practice good habits and my goal right now is to write a self-help book.
What good habits do you practice? How do you stay productive during the day? Let me know in the comments!
I started off wasting my time by sleeping when I get the chance. I don’t want to waste my time this way anymore. I decided to spend my time reading and studying interesting writings. I have been reading The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. It’s the best book I have ever read.
I’m hoping I can get back to writing daily each day again. I also want to get back to painting also. Wasting time by napping during the day kills time and is definitely a waste of time. I want to start using my time wisely in the future. I enjoy reading self-help books. I want to write a self-help book.
How do you waste your time? Leave a comment below! I’d like to know!
My dream last year was to become a painter. I had sold one painting through WordPress because a kind lady saw, liked it, and bought it. That was my biggest accomplishment. I had painted several more paintings but none of it got sold. In my second painting, a British man bought it. I’m currently working on another painting but I won’t be posting it here.
So far, I haven’t sold anymore, only the two paintings. I hope to get two more sold because I feel they are my best work. You will see that I’m not a professional yet, but with practice and perseverance, I know I can be good. It just takes time, patience, and attention. If you’re interested in seeing more of my work, please let me know by leaving your Instagram user name in the comments section. I will send you some of my work.
